Whom else thinks that if ebay doesn't allow certain items for you to sell, then ebay should right away not let you post your item that is not allowed, instead of you posting then within a day or so you get an email from ebay saying that your account is suspended for how ever long a few days or week so on. Yes I know that there is ebay rules and one should read them and follow by ebay rules. But getting your account suspended because you did not put your item in the right category when listing, gets your account shut down for however long ebay chooses is also not right. Ebay should flag your item right away before it even gets posted also same with an item that is not in the right category. Ebay stop you on anything else like the handling time is not correct ect ect ect, come on now, do the same for an item not allowed so on.

Id be curious to know how Ebay can flag an item before its posted?Or flag an item in the wrong category before its even posted? Bots cruise listings and remove suspect items, or someone reported your listings..theres no crystal ball for Ebay to flag an item before its posted. Odd they would suspend you for three days with one violation..

It is your responsibility to know what you are listing and whether it is allowed, and to know the rules about what happens if you don't comply. Take responsibility for your own actions.

Ebay doesn't typically jump right to suspending an account without a few warnings that have gone ignored or being persistent about posting a listing for some item Ebay has warned you about before.
Can you give us more details that happened to you so we can better understand and possibly help you.

There's more to your story than you have posted. A seller doesn't get their account suspended from the very first warning of an item listed that isn't allowed. When it occurs the first time you have your listing pulled and receive a warning with the reasons why it was pulled.
I've had several listings pulled over the years and I've never been suspended. Once I had a listing reported and it was pulled by eBay. I simply worded it differently and posted it again, then it sold within a few weeks. I've also had two listings pulled by eBay within a day of posting because the item I was selling was thought to be a police badge. Again I changed the wording, re-posted the listing and it sold. No suspensions and not another word from eBay.

Yea but sometimes not boys get it wrong. I listed an antique cast iron boxcar key. They pulled the listing because of homeland security laws.
This is true, but that doesn't mean you can ignore the warnings from Ebay and continue to try and list the items or items. You need to yield to the warning and work WITH Ebay to get the misunderstanding, if any, fixed.
There is more we need to know from the OP before any of us can even try to help. Hopefully the OP will come back and share more of their story.

Well they can certainly flag your listing before it's active with warnings about this and that (ivory and native american comes to mind).
