Certain categories are locked so can’t revise my listing...Why?

For some reason certain categories are locked in my listings so I cannot revise Item Description, Shipping, and other categories. Little lock icon next to category. What’s up? I need to add to that description. Why the locks? Anybody know? (October 2020)

My knee jerk reaction was that you had Auctions with bids on them, but when I look at your listings, I only see BIN.

Have you sent an offer to anyone on the specific item your referring to? Or are the items currently have bids?

If you sent or received any offers on the items, you can't change the listings until the offers expire.

I’m having the same issue too….EBay has never really had their crap together. One of the worst selling platforms and customer service/management as well. Don’t expect much except hope that the problem resolves itself.

When I send an offer on a watchlist item, it always locks the listing. Thought this was normal?

Isn't that to prevent the seller from making an offer, then changing the terms or description?
