Cat urine return

Well.   I have a return from a buyer.  The reason she chose it that it has an extremely strong smell of cat urine.   It is, apparently, so strong, that she cannot take the dress out of the bag.  (I ship in gallon zip bags to protect from moisture.)

The funny thing about that is, all of my life,I have had a severe allergy to cats.  Hives.   Such that I have never owned a pet in my life.

She is lying.   She is choosing to return it because it doesn’t fit or whatever the case may be.      I just wish she would be honorable and pay to send it back, but I think, in this day and age, it is a unicorn.  But i digress.

Can somone walk me through issuing a return label?   I started following the prompts but it is somewhat confusing.

Thanks.

Cat urine return

you may be right, but some plastics and materials can also give off an ammonia smell (urine), which can concentrate in a closed bag............

Cat urine return

I just saw that there is a print label option under the solds. It wasn’t easy following the prompts through the message feed but I see how to do it now. regarding the smell, I steam the items before I place them on the manniquin, and these were my own clothes, not from a thrift. So, if the smell is from the plastic bag, which was new, she must be very sensitive. Either way, I will take it back and carry on.

Why not send a message saying what you did here --  that you're allergic to cats and can't have one?  Also discuss the odor from plastics issues and suggest the buyer hang the item outside for a few days.

OK kids, time to get the Dodge loaded up again. I hear 'Poppy's By the Tree' calling. This trip might be a long one too.

I already processed the return. If she wants to return it because it does not fit or she did not like it, in the end it will be returned anyway. I do appreciate your suggestion, though. Also, I re-read what she wrote, and she said it had a cat litter smell? Which very well could be the plastic bag (it was new and they can be strong). But, if she is that sensitive to smells, (she said so in her return reason) then it is coming back, regardless.

You actually do not have to "send" her a label. If you accept the return as a response, they get a link on their end to print the label and it is deducted from your PayPal account or in the case of remorse returns, from their PayPal account. Much easier!

Cat urine return

I'm sorry for bumping this old thread, but I just really feel the need to vent and share my story with someone...

One of my 2 cats (both neutered males) had taken to painting all of my walls, furniture, and anything else he could reach. I was horrified when I got a UV light.

He never did that in all of the 9 years I've had him and didn't when I got him a buddy (they love each other and did so right away) but when a strange black cat started showing up outside both of my cats went nuts and the older one (9) started his wall painting, as well as the curtains out in the kitty room. I couldn't keep up with it.

My cats are indoor cats so it's not like the stray is actually going to get in here but they both hate him (and he is weird...my neighbor's cats hate him too). I've tried cleaning with a pet urine enzyme and then spraying some "No More Spraying" but that hasn't worked.

He's a sneaky little bugger too; he waits until he thinks I'm not looking and then does it. He's learned that the minute I see him backing his butt up to something he gets yelled at. It wasn't until I found "Cat Spraying No More" that I was able to finally get rid of this tiresome behavior.

Now my house nor my ropes don't smell like a litter box anymore 🙂
