Well. I have a return from a buyer. The reason she chose it that it has an extremely strong smell of cat urine. It is, apparently, so strong, that she cannot take the dress out of the bag. (I ship in gallon zip bags to protect from moisture.)
The funny thing about that is, all of my life,I have had a severe allergy to cats. Hives. Such that I have never owned a pet in my life.
She is lying. She is choosing to return it because it doesn’t fit or whatever the case may be. I just wish she would be honorable and pay to send it back, but I think, in this day and age, it is a unicorn. But i digress.
Can somone walk me through issuing a return label? I started following the prompts but it is somewhat confusing.
Thanks.

you may be right, but some plastics and materials can also give off an ammonia smell (urine), which can concentrate in a closed bag............

Why not send a message saying what you did here -- that you're allergic to cats and can't have one? Also discuss the odor from plastics issues and suggest the buyer hang the item outside for a few days.

I'm sorry for bumping this old thread, but I just really feel the need to vent and share my story with someone...
One of my 2 cats (both neutered males) had taken to painting all of my walls, furniture, and anything else he could reach. I was horrified when I got a UV light.
He never did that in all of the 9 years I've had him and didn't when I got him a buddy (they love each other and did so right away) but when a strange black cat started showing up outside both of my cats went nuts and the older one (9) started his wall painting, as well as the curtains out in the kitty room. I couldn't keep up with it.
My cats are indoor cats so it's not like the stray is actually going to get in here but they both hate him (and he is weird...my neighbor's cats hate him too). I've tried cleaning with a pet urine enzyme and then spraying some "No More Spraying" but that hasn't worked.
He's a sneaky little bugger too; he waits until he thinks I'm not looking and then does it. He's learned that the minute I see him backing his butt up to something he gets yelled at. It wasn't until I found "Cat Spraying No More" that I was able to finally get rid of this tiresome behavior.
Now my house nor my ropes don't smell like a litter box anymore 🙂
