What happened to the ka-Ching or cash register sound when one of my items sells on eBay? Now I have to constantly look at my e-mails to see if anything sold. I liked the sound much better as I knew right away something had sold. Bring it back please.

Here's what I have learned: when you clear your history/cache, you are automatically logged out of eBay. Even when I clear the history on my desktop, it logs me out of eBay on my phone and tablet--scary!! Click on the Ebay app, sign in with seller name and password, and you will hear that wonderful sound again!

check your notifications on your device. If that is set properly then delete the eBay ap and reload. Works for me everytime. I have the cha-ching on my phone and computer. Love it when it makes that sound and I am in a store thrifting or at a yard sale. you should see the looks I get, LOL>

The only sound that i've been getting this month from eBay is crickets.

I haven't sold anything since I asked this question (poor sales,another problem) so I don't know if this helped or not. Thanks anyway.

Now, if I ever have occasion to get that annoying noise, I will know how to get rid of it!

Sometimes it quits on me too on my phone. I go into settings, then customize sounds and nothing is checked. I LOVE that sound! I just wish I could hear it more often.........

How do you get the sound on a desktop?

It happened to me just a few days ago. I went into the settings and turned off all notifications, closed the app. Then opened the app, went back in and turned all the notifications back on and it started working again.

That does not solve the the problem. I have installed, uninstalled, the app with no sucess. It still works on my tablet, but when I upgraded my phone from S4-S7 the cash register sound was unavailable. I even tried downloading the sound from the internet, hoping I could program the app to select that sound, but also to no avail. Very disappointed.
