Okay asking a couple questions.
Just got off chat with support about increasing the selling limit on my account and come to find out that I cannot due to 6 cases which were closed in buyers favor.
These cases were fraudulent and took place over 120 days ago. Shortly after these products were shipped out I suffered a major health/life situation that made it impossible for me to access any of my account or run my business so i was unable to dispute them or provide evidence which is why they sided with the buyer.
When asking the assistant if I can dispute them not or if they can remove them they replied no to both as they were past the 120 day mark.
So now this makes it so I cannot increase my selling limit until the account is back in good standing.
I asked about how long it would take to get back into a standing that would allow an increase and they stated it would take 1000 sales to get my account back to good standing enough for an increase.
so at 10 sales a month it would be 8 YEARS!
So what the hell am I supposed to do here? Can I make a new account and build it up? Looking for solutions because this is a bit ludicrous that something out of my control has removed are large portion of my income.
Thanks in advance

It would not take 8 years, defects on your account go away after 12 months.
What the CSR told you is correct IF you wanted to get back to Above Standard BEFORE 12 months. If the last defects are more than 120 days ago you are already a third of the way to them all going away.

Registering new accounts to get around selling restrictions or limits is against eBay policy.
Multiple accounts policy

This is what I would do...
I would continue to sell, continue to provide good service, and EARN a higher limit (however long it takes).

Sorry to say it probably wouldnt have done you any good to dispute those six cases. Ebay is buyer centric, and will rule in the buyers favor 99.9% of the time.

I was not informed of the 12 month limit. Thank you, seems they will be off the account in a couple months

As soon as you get back to only having 3 defects you should get upgraded to Above Standard again. If all the defects are from a short period (same month) then it won't matter as they will all go away at the same time.
