Cannot find vacation mode

I am going on vacation and I really want to keep my listings up if possible. I've looked online for instructions, and I can't find the vacation mode that is mentioned in a lot of the instructions.

Do I need to have a subscription account just to be able to utilize the vacation function?

Re: Cannot find vacation mode

I can't manage my store for vacation settings, because I don't have a store.  I'm just an individual seller, and apparently ebay took away our ability to have a vacation setting a few months ag.

Re: Cannot find vacation mode

The vacation settings have always been limited to Stores subscribers.  Non-stores have never had access to vacation settings.

Sellers that do not have a store have NEVER had access to placing their listings on vaca.  That is something Ebay has never offered.

Re: Cannot find vacation mode

I'm going on vacation for a month. I don't have a store. Where is the option to hide listings? All of mine are BIN.

I'd rather keep them up and renewing monthly rather than end them because EBay will delete anything that's 30 days old. Reconstituting them would be a huge difficulty.

As stated earlier in this old thread, a non store owner does not have that benefit.   It is a benefit for all store owners of a Basic store or higher.

You have two options.  You can end all your listings and then repost them when you return from the Seller Hub.

Or you can go to your Site Preferences and set up your inventory to allow for OOS [out of stock] items.  You will then need to go and zero out all your listings.  This will leave your listings active, but with no available inventory to be purchased.  When you return you will need to update each listing with your inventory quantity and then they will be live again for purchase.  Keep in mine that even when they are at a zero quantity they will experience renewals just like a listing that has an inventory count for up to 90 days.

I thought a Starter Store also had Vacay settings? Unless that has changed?

No that I think is my fault, I forget about the newer Starter Store.  Sorry.
