Cannot create, edit, copy or save any seller templates. FIX IT!

I've tried 3 browsers on 2 different computers, cleared all cache and cookies, but to no avail. Any attempt to alter or create a listing template fails upon save. You just get a spinning circle popup for perpetuity.

It's been this way for days. Via phone, eBay acknowledges that their error is impacting multiple sellers, but they have no estimate on resolution, no workaround, no alternatives.

I'm dead in the water other than manually altering every single new listing since I cannot create or modify a template.

So glad eBay is raising seller fees when they can't fix their [CENSORED] systems.

It never stops.  I was getting a message from ebay as I was trying to relist some items stating that they can not find my listings.  Very Comforting.  I search for my items and I can not find them.  Ebay, please get some competent programers and pay them!!!!

Its disgusting. Here is the issue.  ebay has become to big. There are too many line workers and not enough BIG bosses to monitor issues. They dont want to pay for REAL  wages for real leadership. They would prefer to outsource to Philippines, Russia, Spain, etc.  Its sad, if a real CEO came in and knew what to REALLY do, they could increase their profits , but they take the easy money easy way out. BTW I cant edit ANY part of my ad.

But I am also expected to pay more fees.

Good luck with this - we're just fellow sellers with the same problem.  I can revise one template every so often and that's about it.  One would think eBay would fix something so basic as templates so, you know, sellers could list stuff for buyers to buy, but they're too concentrated on their promotional schemes and verticals which are easier to monetize. 😠

I have been having the same issues for a few weeks now.  I did speak with customer service and was told that the problem should be fixed by month end.  A long time to wait but there it is!

Which month... and more importantly what year? The overseas script-readers will say anything to get you off the phone so they can meet their quota of calls, so I have a hard time believe anything they tout as a solution that isn't immediately verifiable while you are on the phone.

I've been having the same spinning wheel when trying to edit a template: I'm dizzy and annoyed! eBay constantly tweak things when not needed yet FAIL completely to address real problems. They’re quick to roll in new fees though – never see any issues with those web pages.

@revenue-collector  They'll never see it - all that will happen is your fellow sellers and some buyers will see your post every single day, which is fine, but may be a waste of time for you.

You can try bringing it up on the weekly chat - I'll make a note and join in and others can.  For what it's worth, I realise.

It's just ridiculous - the coding for this site is such a kludge.

Yeah, I get it. Venting online is cathartic though; better than yelling at the poor non-English speakers on the phones who won't understand the issue anyway.

That said, I'm on the phone right now sternly but politely demanding a refund of this month's store subscription fee. It doesn't solve the problem, but I darned well need to get some compensation for eBay's incompetence.

This is a multi-billion-dollar company. They have resources. It should not be incumbent upon sellers to continue to pay the full costs for services not rendered (never mind the loss of sales).

It's been at least 2-weeks since I've been able to create (save) a new template. Nor have I been able to save changes to pre-existing templates. 

I contacted eBay customer service about it about a week ago, and they told me that they would "report it to the tech dept.", however as of today (02/16) I am still not able to save new templates, or modify ones which I created before this problem began.

Another one with this problem.  Wasted hours thinking it was my fault.  Then wasted time on 3 support tickets.  Their final suggestion was to cancel my store subscription and re-subscribe when they fix the problem (of course, there's no way to know when that happens without a store subscription).

Absolutely ridiculous that eBay won't fix this.  How are you supposed to list hundreds of items without templates?  Of course, their suggestion for this was 'do it all individually by hand and waste a week of work'.

I was told it would be fixed in 3 days when I called early this month.  Still not fixed.
