Cannot change my cell number on Personal info

OMG i have called ebay 3 times with this issue they give me the same beginner type customer service reps with no real solutions. Why can't they route this problem to their tech department. They just go in circles telling you the same obvious things you have already done. 2 seperate work type orders put in by ebay and they let it fall through cracks never resolving the issue. I cannot enter my correct cell number into my sellers account personal info section it says please provide correct number. I have spent 2+ hours on the phone with low level customer service knowledge reps. At this point i think wow i am a seller for ebay i work real hard at this and they cannot even help me be able to enter my cell phone in their system for when they have me verify my info continuously taking time out of my day too. WOW my thoughts of ebay right now is they have a dysfuctional customer service system there at times. I need tech to figure this out. Is ebay run by those who want it to actually fail?

Are you selecting edit before entering your new number? If so, select save after.

This is something you should be able to do on your own.

Go to Site Preferences.

Personal Information

Addresses

Then on the first option in front of you will appear this option:  

Registration address, email and phone number

Your main contact address. It's important to keep it up to date and accurate.

Click on the Edit button on the right.  After you make the changes you need make sure you commit your changes.

Now I am getting a red error message this evening say sorry something went wrong, try again later.

We are having a pretty good size storm right now with lots of thunder and lightening.  It is just crazy outside.
