I don't know if this may apply to your problem, but I was forced to use the new format yesterday. Whe listing an item, I did see the description box but when I listed the item, there was nothing, no box, nothing to highlight. It took me two hours to find out that two of my add-on (on firefox) were interfering with this new form, adblock plus and duckduckgo. Now it is working. If you have add-ons installed, try to deactivate them and then activate them back one at a time. Another option, what I also did, was to download a browser I never used before, Microsoft's edge, it worked without a problem. That's how I got the idea that it is a problem with the Firefox browser rather than the form.
However, with the old form, I did not have any problem with all the add-ons installed.
