Have things changed? I have a listing scheduled and the item is no longer available. I had the listing scheduled to start in a few days.
Long story short: I go to 'Scheduled Items for Sale' and NOW there's NO delete button, just an 'Edit' and 'Revise.'
I've done this many times in the past and suddenly I can't remove/delete the inactive listing? Jeeez'! Do I have to wait until it's active and remove it...so Ebay gets the listing fee? That seems to be their idea here.
Or the site's 'features' have gone nuts!
I tried to remove it through the 'Edit' process, but there is no way.
We've done this for many years, and this is a first for me.

Well sir! ___ Got off the phone with Ebay rep. ALL FIXED. ___ She didn't even seem to know what happened but she restored the 'delete' button.
Thanks to all of you who responded. I learned from you. 🙂

I don't know about the process for eBay stores for scheduled listings, but for non-store sellers when you go to "Manage scheduled listings" , under "Action" is the option to Delete.

Maybe I'm having 'senior moments' but under "Selling" I have, as always, the sub category "Scheduled" and that listing I want to delete is there. Always before there was a 'delete' option and it was simple, especially if the item wasn't active.
It's the same now, but there's no 'delete' option. There is only the choice of "Edit" or "Add a note."
And if your note is specific, I can't find a "Manage scheduled listings" tab at all anywhere?
It's very strange! 🙂

Since there is no 'Action' tab at all on the 'Scheduled' page, I have to assume that there is a 'glitch' here. As I said, I've deleted many items over the years and it's very simple for an item that's only scheduled. And my 'Active' items have the option to 'End this auction' but the 'Scheduled' items do not right now. Just strange.
Perhaps Ebay will restore that tab soon.
Thanks very much for your response. 🙂

It may also be noted that I am using "Seller Hub"...is that the case for you?

You must go back to classic view to find a delete button for scheduled listings. When you do change to classic view you will be prompted to state why you are going back. I have mentioned this many times in every query about the new hub....it's bad policy!

How do you tag an ebay rep in here? tyler, trinton, Bueler?
When will ebay fix this glaring omission?
Scheduled listings require the ability to delete, since we can not list what is no longer available in our inventory. It i yet another money grab scenario for eBay. Delete scheduled listing is not available except in classic view.

^^^^^ This!
I just checked my Seller Hub (Scheduled) and the Action drop down which includes "delete" is there and works.

This site is wonky as hell. There are different rules and functionality for everyone using the site. Buyers, sellers, it doesn't matter. My experience will not be the same or remotely similar to yours based on what algorithm? At one point, every single one of my selling i.d.'s was on different rules and procedural testing. Every single aspect of dysfunction was based on ways to force listings ie: forced fees.

I've got scheduled listings and have DELETE under the ACTIONS. See my pix.

wow, that would seem incredible, but this is ebay.
You may have to call in to get this resolved, or to be told too bad....don't schedule any listings.
Can someone please tag Trinton or Tyler on this? I am unable to do it.

Yup! Others have the 'delete' option as well. And I ALWAYS did have it. LOL.... but not at this moment.
As I said, it's very strange and, with billions of algorithms running, it can certainly vary from person to person. As one of the other respondents pointed out, he had similar problems with tags disappearing. Well, the wonkiness and weirdness of Ebay is legendary and this, I suppose, is just one more tiny example!
I'm hopeful it will return as it disappeared. If not I will call and get in line to have it explained to me.
Again, we've been here for years and years and this is a 1st! 🙂 I actually thought something had changed and I just didn't know about it.
It still seems like a way to grab a quick posting fee when it becomes 'active'! Then when active, as I said earlier, I have the 'remove' tag and can immediately delete it. And Ebay gets the listing fee. 😞
