I just had a buyer purchase and pay for an item. They then proceeded to immediately cancel the order (this seems to happen once a week). Five minutes later the buyer sent me this message, "The address mistake itsJD12 .not J12. ,Please don't cancel my order". So apparently there's a typo in the address. No big deal. My question is, what do I do about the cancellation request? Can I ignore it without it hurting my seller performance, or causing some other unforeseen side effect? I'm in the process of attempting to build my eBay account up into a full time job. I really want to do things perfectly. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

The "correct" thing to do is go through with the cancellation. Reason: Problem with buyers address.
Tell the buyer that you are "required" by ebay to cancel the transaction.
You can not just change the address, no matter how small or minor the change.
Cancel the transaction.
Tell the buyer to correct the address.
Tell the buyer re-purchase the item(s) with the correct address.
Good luck!

I ordered a product and then when it went through I saw the shipping was as much as the product, doubled the cost to $160. I immediately requested it be canceled. eBay said the seller had already shipped the product. I really doubt that happened as it was within 3 minutes I looked up the eBay communication and sent them the request to cancel. I further researched and say eBay has a guideline of 1 hour that you may cancel. So why does eBay state the seller may not honor my request. Help needed for this new eBay buyer.

Once a week, lucky, we tend to have 3-5, im guessing it is a ploy for the other sellers/ pricing watchers....
