Cancelled item in limbo

I sold a PS5 to a new ebay member and as soon as they pay, they were requesting me to ship to a different address.  After a number of messages, I decided to cancel the transaction.  I have refunded the buyer and both ebay and paypal show the money was refunded.   But when I check my account, I still see the final value fee still being owed for this listing which is close to $100.  

 

The ebay resolution center also shows that the Order cancellation is pending with this status:

'We'll then ask the buyer to let us know when they receive the refund.'

 

I sent the buyer a message asking if they received the refund and they said they had but that they have not received any other message from ebay or paypal.   

so what do I do? 

I have called ebay 2 times and have spent at least 1 hour talking with them but all they tell me is that the issues has been forwarded to their resolution team, but it has been 5 days and I do not want my credit card to be charged the final fee for this.

I thought ebay no longer has a CS phone number? Can you please let me know what number a person can reach them at? I need to contact them too.

How much did you sell the PS5 for? If buyer requested the order be canceled and you selected that reason when you canceled your fvf should be refunded. But you sure the fvf for this transaction alone was $100? Or could the $100 fees be made up from other listings and sales combined with this sale??

Yes, the sale was just under $1,000.  I asked the buyer today to confirm that they received a paypay refund, which they did.  When they bought the item, they did so as a guest, so when they log back into ebay, I do not think they have an account.  So I don't know how the buyer can confirm they received a refund.  

 

I had to cancel as the buyer was asking me to ship to a different address that was not the confirmed one listed in the paypal payment email.  So I was worried with the transaction being so high $, I did not want to mess around with shipping to un-confirmed address and risk the transaction.    

 

So this listing is still sitting as Pending Cancellation now for almost a week and  ebay resolution center shows that the Order cancellation is pending with this status:

'We'll then ask the buyer to let us know when they receive the refund.'

 

has anyone else had this issue?  I have spoke to ebay 3 times now with no luck and different answers each time.    The last person said it takes 7 business days to drop off, but I will believe that when I see it.
