When you as a seller excepting offers and it’s saying congratulations ca buyer cancel it?

A buyer has a very small window to actually cancel. They can then request a seller to cancel for them. Any request to cancel should be completed by that seller as obviously the buyer no longer wants the item and will only end up returning it afterwards. Best of luck to you....

The buyer can only make a request to cancel IF the the has not shipped yet.
The seller is the only one in control of actually canceling a sale.
Once shipped it can not be cancelled.

Is that the rule for offers accepted? I’ve never done offers so I don’t know. Sounds like high potential for a buyer to abuse.

I believe there is still a percentage charged to seller if they cancel the sale after payment received. Seeing what you are selling be very careful.
I canceled an auction for ten cents by highest bidder before auction ended and got charged one cent.

When you have zero feedback sellers auctioning $2,000 and $1,500 pennies with 3-word titles and same 3-words as descriptions, and they are being won by zero feedback buyers...
...what could go wrong?
Cancellations may be the least of your problems. Good luck!

Unfortunately you're dealing with someone who used Ebay as a playground. You're a new seller and given you have an auction style listing with best offer added on, you'll be attracting a lot of scam attempts. You're taking a risk selling items on this platform or any others. Sell those pennies locally to a jeweler or a pawn broker for cash. That way you'll get paid.
Good luck.

Read this eBay policy -

Cancelling is one part of this I don't agree with. It's virtually impossible to "accidentally" buy something on ebay. However every time someone wants to cancel an order they almost always use the lame excuse "I accidentally bought this" or "I don't know how this order went through".
I know it's not true. I know most likely they either found it elsewhere for 10 cents cheaper or are just an serial impulse buyer with a guilty conscience.
I'm so sick of cancellations.
My new policy is, if someone asks to cancel a transaction I will do it without a reply but they are immediately put on my BBL.
I don't care what the excuse is, I refuse to do business with someone who thinks its ok to buy something, and then turn around and change their mind.
