Canceled shipping label 20 days ago. Refund has never been given.

On September 5th I bought shipping label then realized it was for the wrong amount and promptly canceled it.  My dashboard status was updated to "Void accepted" within the hour, but my account has never received the credit of $18.95 and for the life of me I can't figure out how to report this matter directly to ebay. How do I let ebay know that I never received the refund?

Was this a USPS label? If so, that is who approves and refunds the money. And they can take 30 days or more to do so.

Yes, it was USPS. When I canceled the label, I thought I read that refunds can take up to 10 days. I must have misread something. I'll wait until 30 days have lapsed before reaching out again. Thanks!

I had a refund due on shipping from the USPS about 3 months ago. Good luck. Never heard another peep out of them. I don't even ask anymore.

Same thing happened to me recently.  In the past when I needed to void a label I always got refunded from USPS within a week or so.  It’s been 3 weeks.

I've had the same thing happen to me, still waiting for my refund on postage 5 weeks ago.

This is what help pages say:

USPS: You have 5 days to void a USPS shipping label that you printed on eBay, and it can take up to 21 days for USPS to approve or reject the refund. If it's approved, you'll receive an email that you have been refunded

so I would question after 21 days..........I've got one at 10 days now.......

It takes between 2-4 weeks to receive a refund on an unused, voided USPS label. You'll see the refund on your original source of payment (bank, credit card, etc) and the funds will appear in your account without an email notification (despite what the help page says). @thegws

Same here I've had multiple cancelled labels and have NEVER rec'd a refund yet! And its been months!

I've always gotten a refund and I have never received a notification. It has never taken less than 21 days. If you are paying for the labels out of your sales from money held by eBay the refund will show up on the monthly transaction report for the month you receive the refund and will be referenced with the sale transaction number. If you use a third party shipper (Pirate Ship, Shipify, etc.) it will show up in your account with that shipper. Never buy labels directly from USPS.

When I cancel a USPS label, I usually get refunded in a few minutes.
