I shipped an item, that was returned to sender. Can I get a refund on the postage? It was a fedex smartpost, how do I refund this?

I doubt Fedex would give you a refund........they did what you paid them to do...deliver the package.....
Has the buyer opened a claim yet?

I don't think so, I think you can only cancel a label that was never used, and only a limited time.

I am going to try to cancel it anyways, how do I do that?

No you can't cancel a used shipping label. It WAS used.
The buyer failed to receive the item. That is not the shipping company's fault.
The buyer should be out the money.
Just refund the buyer minus all the fees you are out.

Good luck to you, I have no clue how to cancel a used label.
If there was a way to cancel a used label... we would all be doing it for free service.
Your item was in the stream, the provider did their job.
I guess you could call the provider...
Let us know how it works out.

You can refund your buyer minus the postage cost.
