Hello, are we allowed to sell big brand merchandise designs on shirts?
Suppose a remake of Spider man or mickey mouse designs on t-shirts etc on Ebay?
I am new , hence asking.
Thanks in advance 🙂

Ebay has a strong VeRO (Verified Rights Owner) program that protects design owner's rights. Copying designs or even interpreting designs may be a violation of copyright. It's really not much different from counterfeit merchandise. I would walk carefully on this one.

If you mean putting a personally created Mickey Mouse picture on a shirt........no, because that's going to violate copyright laws....Disney has not given you their permission nor have they collected a fee from you.
If you buy a transfer of MM from Disney (if they sold them, which I don't think they do) and put in on a shirt.......that would work.......

What's a "remake"? You cannot use somebody else's trademarked characters or designs on your products.

No, I think it is termed copyright infrimgement.
Just a question, though. Do you ever get tired of reruns and sequels?
Why not think of something new, for a change?
