I have my listings set to have the "unpaid item assistant" open a dispute in 2 days if payment isn't received.
Last week, I had a buyer request more time and I was able to turn it off for that transaction while I awaited payment.
Tonight, I have a buyer who just requested to pay on Friday but when I tried to turn off the assistant for that transaction, it's not there!
The following are what I normally see vs. the one that isn't giving me the ability to turn off the UIA.

It is no longer appearing as an option on my drop down list either...this is the third issue in several days in which Ebay has apparently changed things without notice...I am no longer able to "add to listing description" nor post messages to listings; both of which were helpful to both sellers and buyers. If a case hasn't been opened yet, add that user ID to your Unpaid Item Assistant Exception list. It shouldn't open a case for them then.

If the glitch doesn't get resolved, reassure your buyer that even though the case might open on Wednesday, he still has 4 more days to pay before there's any mark on his account. So it's still OK for him to pay on Friday despite this glitch.
