Greetings - A few years ago PayPal showed both the date and time that the buyer made a purchase. Then PP re-designed the transaction page and the time was no longer shown, but there was a link to click which allowed you to see the old page, along with the time of transaction.

Now on PP there's nothing but the date, and there's no longer a link for the old page. I've searched for an answer on PP, eBay and Gaggle -- and asked in every way possible -- but there's no info to be found. Does anyone know how to find out the time the buyer paid? Also, as far as I know, eBay has never shown the transaction time...just the date.

Any info appreciated, thanks!

You can see it on your orders page in seller hub

Well, to be fair that's when it sold, not actually when paid.

In Paypal, open the transaction, it's at the top left. That's the time the payment was made.

Thank you for responding! I don't use the seller hub, just the old "All Selling" page. Is there any way to view it there? When I click "Order details" it doesn't show time.

Also, I looked on PayPal just now and didn't see a link for "Transaction details" -- just a link for "Print details" but it doesn't show time. If it matters, I have a basic PP account, not a business or professional one.

Is that shown in the Seller Hub only? I use the old "All Selling" page.

You should just be able to click on the transaction itself and it will do the kiddie-code slide down to show the details.

Sorry that should of said on eBay with iPhone. I don’t see it on laptop.

I don't use a smartphone either, lol. I'm starting to suspect PayPal removed it to create an incentive to upgrade one's account.

Forget it...found the info

Here it is for anyone using a laptop and the basic "All Selling" page:

Home > My eBay > My Account > Seller Account > Account Activity

From there scroll down to "All Account Activity" and it shows the date and the time. That's a lot of steps for one simple thing. Anyway, thanks again for your help!
