Can't send an invoice for over 40 items (Solved!)

I was having a problem sending an invoice for purchases by customers of over 40 items.  Ebay has not been able to solve this.  Not surprised? Nor am I.  So...I tried some things remembering that there is an  "Send Invoice" option in the "contact" buyer" section.  Select the small arrow next to any item you want to invoice...knowing that ebay will combine all the customers items into one invoice up to 40 items automatically.

If you have over 40 items, ebay will accomplish this the first time by selecting "send invoice" in the small arrow drop down menu.  So select "Send invoice" and send the invoice with 40 items.   Next select the drop down arrow and select "contact buy".  In that page select at the top "send invoice".  You should see another 40 items or the balance of items remaining to be invoiced for this customer.  Review your invoice and click "Send" at the bottom.  Repeat this operation until all your invoices are sent for this customer.  Hope this helps. It worked for me for sending invoice to customers  who purchased over 40 items.

Thanks ever so much.  Works for me.  Calls to eBay Customer Support, eBay Chat, providing feedback on the Send invoice page, and M2M support all failed to provide a solution, so your help is greatly appreciated!!!

This is really helpful.  Have bookmarked this for the future to do multi-invoices at once.

@sin-n-dex was trying to do this before as well - cannot remember if she was able to find a solution or not.  Pinged her, just in case.  🙂

I haven't had over 40 transactions to one customer since this was posted.

I will have to try it when I run auctions again.

this doesn't work. buyer has to pay first invoice before you can send another one.

Just had the same issue. The buyer needed to complete payment first, then send another invoice with free shipping and then combine / add tracking number to both orders since they are shipped together.
