Counter offer accepted never ending loop continues

I sold an item after making a counter offer to the purchaser. The item was paid for, I shipped it, everyone is happy but me. Ebay continues to flash the notice that my counteroffer has been accepted.  No matter how many times I click on the icon it continues to loop around, flashing and also leaving a red dot by my notifications. Annoying! Help please! Thank you.

I have the same problem. It's been about 3 days of the notification hanging around being annoying and distracting. I would also love to know how to get rid of it.

Ebay has just royally screwed up the day to day functioning of the site again.  Notifications are sticking around and coming back for weeks now- its annoying. and you cant swipe left to dismiss them any more compounding the irritancies. 

The offers system however does not even bother to notify buyers when an offer is accepted.   its utter lunacy. 

Ebay fiddles with dumb new ideas and implements them without testing and then it breaks all the code and normal links that were working.   

We just have to live with it i guess

is the tracking number uploaded onto the item?

go to the drop down menu and make sure the item shows shipped and paid for

If on your ebay app, you may have to go into settings, and force stop, this should help.

Got the notification this morning that an item offer was accepted, it sold 4 days ago and has been shipped.

My item was paid for and shipped 8/29, tracking number is uploaded, item has already been delivered. Still have the counter offer accepted notification. I am on my desktop, not the app.
