Can't get mail to open

Have a question or mail from a customer asking a question and it won't let me open my mail.  I click on it and absolutely NOTHING happens.  Most items selling today and can't communicate with a potential buyer.. SAD.

@tdebuys

Did you try retrieving it thru your email? You may want to report it to the technical issues forum:

Good luck getting it resolved

Re: Can't get mail to open

Thanks ckimodog I have no idea.  It seems every time they change something supposedly for the better my system don't like it.   The person trying to contact me sent me a note offering me a lesser price and I rejected the offer.  My bet is the eBay computer saw that as an offer to sell off ebay.  We'll see.  IF SO I am gonna be really upset because I flat told the buyer " NO".

Re: Can't get mail to open

Any difference if you use a different browser, or a different link to your messages?

Try using a different browser to use the link to return to the "classic" version of the messages page. The new chat-style version may not support message folders.

If you are using a mobile browser and having problems, try using the eBay app or else request the desktop site version of the page with your mobile browser. Or try another browser.

Details about requesting the desktop site version of the page in various mobile browsers can be found here:

https://community.ebay.com/t5/Technical-Issues/Will-not-stay-in-Classic-Site-mode-listings-appear-in...

If you are already using a desktop browser, try a different link such as this link to messages from members:

https://mesg.ebay.com/mesgweb/ViewMessages/0/m2m

If you have eBay messages sent to your email address, you may be able to read and respond to them there. Reply directly to the email rather than using the blue reply button in the message.

If all else fails, try reading and responding to your messages on ebay.ca instead of ebay.com.
