I'm a seller and I had a buyer request to return an item that "wasn't as described." I messaged the buyer, explained everything, then they admitted that they didn't read the description and accepted the answer. However, they never closed the return request. On November 26th, a case opened and automatically went in the buyers favor.
I'm attempting to appeal the case but on the "Appeal your case" screen, the item isn't listed, even though it's been less than 30 days. On the same webpage, the "How to appeal a decision," leads to a dead end (there's no "see details" button.) I'm unsure what to do now. The buyer isn't responding, hasn't shipped the item back, and now my funds are on hold. I've filled a "I don't agree with the buyer's reason for return," report, but i'm not sure if that does anything

You should have responded to the case with a return label and refund after return, then you could have appealed it. You also received an account defect for not responding to the case,so Im not sure you are allowed to appeal.

Thanks for the response! That makes sense. I'll know that for next time incase it happens again...
