Can't contact (buyer using guest acct) via ebay messaging

I can email regular other customers fine via "contact buyer"

Ebay however errors out when trying to send a message to a buyer using a guest account.  Unable to send any message of any kind.

Anyone else notice this issue going on?  Just discovered it 6:15-6:20pm cst.

If you look at the order details for that purchase on the Sold items page does it give an encrypted email address or a phone number for the buyer?

Guest Accounts don't have a Member Account in order to see/receive messages/emails in the first place.

Plus, they wouldn't even know an message was being sent and if the message did get through- how would the 'guest' even see it?

For your orders page you always have in the scroll down options for each order, a contact buyer option.  I use it all the time with people using a guest account.  You have to be able to send messages to all buyers, and I have always been able to do that.

Okay so if that malfunction only started today I would give it a day or 2 to see if it gets corrected.

What exactly do you see on-screen when the message attempt fails?
