Can't Revise Two Different Listings, Offer Lock is Stuck

Almost a week (7 days) after I made an offer I still can't modify my listing.

I did notice they extended the offer period (missed that at first) so I just waited several days then tried again. All I want to do is add a photo and lower the price but when I try to do that, it is locked up and says there is an offer.  Already contacted support (had to lie and say my account was hacked, since the splendid chatbot did not think it was possible that ebay did something wrong). They said it would take 48 hours. And yet, here I am, still locked.

Is this just a weird bug and I've managed to do the perfect combo of things? Maybe someone that got the offer was banned or something? I guess I will cancel and relist but I'll loose all the watchers.

it's 4 days / 96 hours not 48.

Just curious, what is it that you need to change that can't wait?

Telling someone at customer service that your account was hacked when it wasn't hacked, has got to be the oddest approach to getting something resolved that I can imagine.  Why didn't you just tell them the dog ate your eBay account?

When you noticed that they had extended the offer period, I do not think it said it was extended to "several days".

I think it said it was extended to 96 hours: 

"Each offer from a seller is valid for 96 hours or until an offer is accepted, whichever comes first."

I feel like when I go back and read what I wrote it's clear. clearly not! I wanted to add a photo (basically it was a set of items and one was mistakenly not pictured if you must know). Also wanted to lower the price. ✅

Yes, it was extended 96 hours to be precise (or several days to be more general since that's 4 days and several where I come from). I was unaware of this change, BUT THIS IS NOT MY MAIN ISSUE (read title). ✅

The 48 hours was what the customer service rep told me it would take to clear it. This isn't a me issue. This is an ebay, engineering issue. The rep didn't believe me either until she examined my account and saw that, yes, the offer should have ended days ago. She came back from checking and told that this is an issue some people are having and it would take 48 hours to clear. Actually tried last night, over a week later and it's still stuck.✅

And yes, it's a weird way to have to get a customer service rep on the line. I've never had to do something that weird with any other company but the options they give with the chatbot are terrible. Here are the ridiculous options (note if you click something else it asks you what you need, then loops you back to the same options:

As the rep said that others were having this issue, I was just curious if there was any knowledge or work arounds.

Work around? End the funky listing(s). Add your extra photos and lower the price when you relist. If you had any potential buyers for the now ended listings, send them a link to the relisted item.
