Can anyone tell me what is really going on with eBay?

Why so many bad changes??  I can't find stores?  can't search my store?  Sales down 45%?  What is really going on here?  Anyone know?

I looked at my sales last year to this year same timeframe and it’s profoundly down, with each new policy, hoop, way to squeeze more money in promotion fees and services like free everything...it’s nota coincidence. They have an agenda, if sellers do not fall in line, squashed.

I don’t think they are an acquisition target. They are trying to be a me too, nothing original other than sellers pay the Prime associated fees

There is also no such thing as ECOMMERCE anymore. Devin Wenig discussed this in his keynote speech at Ebay Open. It is all Commerce. Meaning, that you are competing with everyone, EVERYWHERE--brick and mortar, platforms like Ebay, AMZ, private websites. What this all means is that you have to be the best of the best at everything you do. Every change, every new update, addresses where this platform needs to be to continue to compete. Understand that to thrive you must be adjusting your business model all the time.  The environment, it is ever changing.

I figure this site is on its way out. they just do not know it yet.

If Ebay turned technical issues to China then we're toast.  They could be manipulating sales all to China.  Glad Trump is putting tariffs on China goods.  Need to kick behinds.

I agree with your analysis.   You're obviously conservative and so am I.  I bet we're all conservative and google knows it.  Possibly it's a type of shadow banning.  I'm done.  Going into a no internet full-time job.  Not easy at 60 years old.

I've called ebay numerous times to complain and have been told by the automated computer that my store has a restriction on it.  When I tell the customer service reps they all deny it.  

What if we're deliberately being shadow banned on ebay?  I'm not a conspiracy theorist, but do  computers lie?  Humans are prone to lie.  Ebay knows they're cutting our bottom line and killing our sales.  Don't kid yourselves,  this isn't an accident.   Time to write to Breitbart and get this darned thing investigated .

I read a stock analyst report on ebay, and he is clueless, no understanding of how ebay is losing buyers and sellers, opened the door for competition because charging sellers more = sellers raising prices, and other platforms that serve the market ebay did..are growing, and ebay is light years behind Amazon and Walmart. I shop on a different site depending on product. For me, it’s ebay for a pair of eyeglass frames I broke and desperately want to replace, discontinued chanel nail polish or some miscellaneous skin care products. Skin care products are priced better on ebay. I used to buy Sundry sweatpants here..now when I look, they often are full retail price, and I do better buying from Sundry, or during a department store sale. My shopping has gone down as my selling has on this site.
