I received this message and eBay deleted all 50 of my listings (I think eBay did for other sellers too).
////Your listing was removed: VeRO Brand Name Misuse Policy
Hello pdr-lights*com,
We had to remove your listing because it didn’t follow our VeRO Brand Name Misuse Policy. You may not use brands names in your listings if the product isn’t manufactured by or compatible with that brand//////
Question and answer!?
The word "PDR" - this is an abbreviation of the words "Paintless Dent Removal", which has been used in the USA since 1931 year.
Paintless dent repair (PDR), also known as paintless dent removal, describes a method of removing minor dents from the body of a motor vehicle.
Currently, only Chinese company under name "PDR" and its satellites appear for a request using the keyword PDR. All products that are ALWAYS used in combination with abbreviation of the word "PDR" have disappeared from the pages of the eBay. Naturally, disappeared all sellers. It's incredible!
I believe that this is an agreement with a Chinese company. This is monopoly and discrimination.
I'd like to know? Who else was affected by this problem.
We must collectively demand to return the word back and restore all deleted listings.

eBay can suspend your account for too many vero violations, so maybe don't put your company name in your listing titles. eBay can also suspend your account because your username is a violation.
Not allowed:
Apparently "PDR" is trademarked (news to me), which is why the second would be considered a violation and the same company that had your listings taken down for a vero violation could have your account suspended because of your username.

And, since Peekaboo-I see you" was in play long before Intensive Care Unit came along, someone could probably have protested that abbreviation to the American Hospital Association.

PDR
Pretty darn regulated
Possible dopey regulation

Well, look on the bright side. Some years back ebay attempted to trademark 'IT', as in it's, "You can find 'IT' on ebay" commercials.
Can you imagine what the world would look like now if that had happened?

I wonder if the AHA trademarked ICU ...
maybe that's why the internet version is ICQ

For many of us working - or have worked - there, it was just the 'unit'. ICU was/is for the media, muckity-mucks, admin, etc. The rest of us generally didn't have the time to worry about it.

@gracieallen01, so if someone wanted to find you, would they ICQ in the ICU?

Nah, we generally avoided 'those' people. Anyone who needed us, knew where to look. There wasn't much down time - and sometimes we got 'real' busy.

Add more
"PDR" - "Paintless Dent Removal" has become a household word all over the world.
pdr lamp
pdr hammer
pdr board
pdr line
pdr dent
pdr ding
+ thousand the same!!!
What an idiot says now the "Paintless Dent Removal Light" instead pdr light ?
"PDR Light" is called in USA and in MumBo-YumBo and in Africa and so on !!!
What?
We need to rename everything.
All of these goods have become invisible to buyers, except for poor quality products (**bleep**) from China.

I thought National Biscuit Company was calling themselves Nabisco all along. Did they ever actually get in a fight with NBC?

I can change it, no question!
But "pdr" inside the phrase is the word "pdr-lights*com".
But eBay agreed to this name.

Since the National Biscuit Company has used the name Nabisco since 1901, and National Broadcasting Company has been in existence since 1926, I don't think the cracker company name was influenced or forced by the trademark of NBC.

Honestly, I checked and your seller name IS your website.
You have a website with that exact name.
I wonder if this is due to the fact your name leads to an off eBay website and is not due to the PDR..
