2 to 4 'updates' for the past 10 years you've been gone is like asking for an update on the 'world events' since 2011. 

You need to give a more precise question of WHAT you are looking to know?

Changes that stand out to me:

• Managed Payments replaced PayPal
• Seller Hub replaced Selling Manager
• Turbo Lister is gone
• Promoted listings

Read these boards, both the selling and the buying ones.  

Buy something before you list something to sell.   Sales tax is now calculated and applied to all sales that will be delivered to US addresses -- unless, of course, you live in (1) one of the five states that do not impose sales tax at all or (2) a state that has not applied the Marketplace Facilitator rules to sales tax imposed on online purchases made by residents of that state.  

When you do start to list things to sell, start small.  

And based on my own experience, I advise not to freak out about Managed Payments.
