I've been on eBay since 1998 -- a lot has changed around here, I'm not as active these days, and I'm not up on the latest eBay bugs, er, features and buyer shenanigans.
I've been trying to sell a laptop (auction format) and twice the buyers have reneged when the listed ended. First one never paid so I filed a NPB and relisted. Second one requested to cancel. After much reading, I approved the cancellation because the buyer could simply report a SNAD and I'd be screwed even harder. I mean, Whiskey Tango Foxtrot!
Neither buyer paid so there's no PayPal fees but will I get a FVF credit on that?
I'm doing a SCO for the the next higher underbidder to see if I get lucky.
I'm thinking of just offering the laptop via BIN w/immediate payment req'd. Can a buyer request a cancellation after a BIN?
Is this what I can expect these days?
