Hello everyone,
First time on here, so here goes.
How many of you are like myself and has sold an item, only for the customer to say it hasn't arrived, when there is photographic evidence, plus text to say item was delivered, only for eBay to say customer is right? Then seller loses out, with money and time?
Sorry to babble but I am furious and wondering is it worth it.

Do you have delivery confirmation from the carrier? (not sure what "text" refers to).......
Just noticed that you are in UK.......and this is the US board.........perhaps best to post there as we have different carriers and there may be different rules.

If you're a new seller, you're a scam target on ebay. Second text? Are you communicating outside of the ebay message system? HUGE no no. Did you load tracking info to ebay? Did you have the package scanned when you shipped it? Was there a DNA or NAD case opened?

I hasn't happened to me yet but I'm sure it will at some time. Unfortunately, it's a risk we all take. I have to agree with a lot of the advise I've seen on this subject stating to not list items that you can't afford to lose. Ebay is a buyer based platform and pleasing the customer is a priority. We all know that the customer is not always right and some will take advantage of the "money back guarantee" but there is not much we can do about it if we want to sell on this platform. I do wish there was more seller protection but from what I've seen so far, it's rare that the seller wins. I guess all sellers have to weigh their losses and gains to decide if it's worth it for them personally.
