Buyers phone and old items

As a new seller I have two questions.

Why do I see the buyers phone after uploading the tracking number ?! I want to add the phone number when sending the item? Am I doing something wrong?

I wanted to use the "sell similar" option, but I can not find the item as it was sold more than 3 months ago. Can I find older listing anywhere in the menus? I am not using the new "seller hub", but I checked it and I could not find what I am looing for even there.

2. I believe after 90 days those previous sold items are gone as eBay only keeps them so long

Phone number on some shipping methods may be OK, USPS it is not as such is read as zip and can send package on a wild ride...

As for old listings they do go away: they are not stored forever....

Can I store listings for a longer time? For example if I save a listing as a draft will it be kept for a longer time? I sell old items and when I sell something I may need more than three months to restore or even find another similar item.

Regarding the question about the phone number, I ship things from Bulgaria and all of the carriers I use are a bit confused that I can not provide them the phone number of the buyer. Including the phone number in the shipping label is something that I have not considered by far.

There are ways to keep unsold listings for longer than 90 days but I can't tell you how to do it on this message board.  Just edit a sold listing to "relist similar" at a ridiculous price and then end the listing after ten minutes.  You have just renewed your old listing for another 90 day run.  When you go look for the temporarily live listing be sure it is priced so high that nobody with functioning eyes would buy it.  Sort your live listings by highest price first and it should show up as numero uno.

What I do, is to download all the pictures to my computer, title, description.  This is the only way, that I have found to be reliable, and that I can keep for as long as I need.  I know its time consuming, but again, its the reliable.

The buyers phone number is available in 'orders awaiting shipment' / order details

Click the blue underlined 12 digit 'order number' on any 'pending order' or 'completed order' and you can see the customers phone number.
