We sellers are getting really put down. If we have a return it goes agiast the seller,But, a buyer can not pay and nothing is done, So unfair. Been selling 21 years and it has gone down hill every year. One day someone is going to give E-Bay a run for the money.

If a buyer hasn’t paid within 4 days, on the 5th day you can go to your Seller Hub to cancel the transaction using the “Buyer hasn't paid” reason and this gives the buyer a strike and you can relist. In future to have eBay automatically cancel your transactions due to non-payment:
Go here: https://www.ebay.com/Cancel/Preference/UnpaidPurchase
Slide the button to the left to turn it on / off or you can change the timeframe.
If you issue these buyer's with a strike for non payment, something is definitely done.
They count if a seller has their blocks in place - I have mine set to 12 months

We had 2 offers on Friday for HV items. Accepted both.
Tonight, both Buyers have emailed indicating they will not be paying. They have decided to buy something else instead, please cancel our orders.
Well....guess what. e-Bay will cancel your orders for non-payment and you will get a strike. Will it does not solve our mess, it hopefully, helps someone down the road.
We cannot relist the items now as they are tied up to give someone time to pay, who has no intention of paying. Immediate payment on "offers" cannot come soon enough for me!

Buyers not paying for their auction wins has been a problem since the inception of auctions.
Yet, many of you still CHOOSE to go with auctions instead of fixed price/buy it now.

Sellers have had, almost from the beginning, the option of listing their items for fixed price, immediate payment required.

I was looking at something the other day, seller sent me an offer and I accepted. Bam! The "pay now" button appeared and nothing else. I read here about a week ago this was happening. Maybe there are still some glitches to work out. Who knows?? Bummer about your 2 sales renegging...every penny counts these days.

They are trialing it on some accounts, problem is at the moment the seller can not opt out if they want to, which some will want as to enable combined purchasing. A bit up in the air ATM
From sandhya eBay – Auto Payment on Offers
Currently there is no opt out for sellers. We will be looking to add this opt out based on the data as well as feedback received from our users.
