Buyer wants to return a bra after 3 weeks

Hi, a buyer wants to return a bikini bra top after 3 weeks claiming it is damaged and is not the color described. The item was sold on the 24th of December and buyer received it on the 28th. I have refused to accept the return. Buyer also claims to have a similar bra she bought 3 yrs ago that even looks newer than the one I sent. I think she wants to send me her old bra to get a refund.

Re: Buyer wants to return a bra after 3 weeks

in business you have to take a loss somewhere, i mean what are we talking about here 20 bucks?

and im sure you can resell it on ebay ^_^ as is. w/ the stain ...probably go for double the goin rate w/ the stain.. LOL

who walks around in their panties and spill juice? o.0

the question is wow that juice hit just the right spot few more inches to the left or right or up or down and we would not all be here having a intellectual conversation LOL ONLY ON EBAY.

dats why i love ebay.  my advice is take the loss seller and let the buyer know no more returns after juice stains or product has been used. its common sense. here.

Re: Buyer wants to return a bra after 3 weeks

That panty has a stain because my friend touched it with food and attempted to clean it off with water.

It's not really a good idea to eat or drink around ones eBay inventory.

For future photos, I would strongly recommend choosing a background surface that isn't covered with particles of unknown nature.  Is that a white towel?  Whatever it is, it has clumps of material among the fibers that make it look unclean.

It's always prudent to use as pristeen clean a background as possible especially for underwear.

But friend/helper needs a number one absolutely unbreakable rule - no food or drink when handling inventory.  If this person is posting on your behalf, and cannot abide by such common sense standards, then maybe that person should not be listing for you since it's your eBay account and reputation at stake.

There was a saying, there are three sides, this side, that side, and the truth which may be somewhere in the middle.

Someone I know says there are four sides,

his side,

her side,

the truth,

and the legal view!

Re: Buyer wants to return a bra after 3 weeks

There is no use in thinking this or that, if you take returns, you must take the return if its in return time window, case or no case. If not, then do not accept, and let case run its course, there is no use in thinking anything until you ACTUALLY recieve the item and judge it, ebay will stand with you if you took good pictures and they send back other than what was sent to them, it could be soiled, torn, so, good pictues and lots of them are critical on future listings, just learn from this, if they sub out the item, ebay will remove bad feedback, give ebay a chance to help you, and wait for the item, dont jump to conclusions, be proffesional.

Yes, but here there is only one right side - ebay's.

The rest are irrelevant.

Great advice, @city*satins. Something else concerned me though, in reading about the friend posting listings for you, @bitsnspices. Is she doing this from your computer, or is she logging in to your account on her computer and doing this when she's helping you? I NEVER log into eBay anywhere from any device using a Wi-Fi connectionn, or an IP Address other than my own home's. That includes family, even my 80 year old Mama and Daddy's house (actually, my Mama is quite the little internet expert surfer/shopper!).

We've all read here on the boards the horror stories of those suddenly completely banned from buying and selling here forever because their user ID is suddenly associated with someone else who's been banned.

My advice is to never let anyone have access to your login information, or to your account, no matter how well you know them or how much you trust them, and especially, not to be listing items from a computer or device on an IP address other than your own.
