Happened before too, this order we negotiated price, and next day buyer accepted the offer. Paid and in 1 minute we got cancelation notice from the buyer?? any idea, money laundering or what?? we know there is not other piece like the one in the sale on eBay.

Who knows the reason, but they changed their mind.
It never works out well for a seller to refuse to cancel an order when requested. Just cancel, relist it, and move on to the next sale. 🙂

If the payment is going to go right back to the source immediately, it doesn't sound like money laundering.
It sounds like the buyer simply changed his mind, or found a better deal elsewhere.

It doesn't matter what their reason is.
If they request to cancel, cancel.
Block them and move on.

We canceled order of course and blocked the buyer, but it is strange! Literally minute after payment cancelation notice!

Has happened a few times to me. I usually get an explanation from the buyer that a kid bought it.

Quite often when you buy something here, the very next screen you see will feature the exact same item, at a lower price (which of course you never saw in the search results). 😐

Buyer changed their mind, found a lower price elsewhere, their cat stepped on the mouse. Who knows.

Kinda hard to launder a credit card payment

Just cancel per buyer’s request so you don’t have a return later.

As you do not need the aggravation, definitely honor their request and cancel. There MAY be a 30 cents charge through the payment manner they chose; perhaps another poster, with knowledge, is able to address that issue.
