Good morning, I'm trying to find out about a buyers history, I just sold a item and the buyer is from 2019 but has only purchased 1 item and now this is his 2nd purchase. I just fund it strange and I've communicated with the buyer and yet no response, I haven't sent the item he purchased yet just in case this might be a fraud?? Any advice will help.

No communication is necessary. If they paid you ship.

History is unattainable (besides clicking on their feedback which will tell you their feedback, date of account and country of account) but doesn't really matter at all. Customer buys, you need to ship.
Many buy something and come back 1,2,8 years later and buy something else.
Many buyers are not buyers but once in an ion.
Many buyers are new with new accounts that opened yesterday and have a ZERO by their name
Many buyers buy as a 'guest', will also have a ZERO by their name, and don't even have an account to receive messages from
Many buyers that have been here 1,2,9 years don't use their accounts much and don't get back on ebay to check messages because they don't know where messages are, don't know messages exist, or because they are busy or simply don't want/need to.
Again, you list, they buy, you ship. Nothing more to it.
All of the above is the same as the first sentence. They buy, you need to ship.

If the buyer paid, you ship -- exactly as you would expect if you bought something on eBay or on any other on-line marketplace. That's it.
If a problem develops down the road, you deal with it then.
You sell collector stuff, so it's not unusual to have buyers who make only occasional purchases. And as others have said, there are other reasons that may explain only a few purchases on any given User-ID in any given period of time. But, really, it doesn't matter. Buyer pays. You ship.
I see you have another thread going on exactly the same topic:

In over a decade of selling, i have never encountered a fraudulent buyer. Yes, it can happen, with virtually any buyer. Just wanted to assure you that infrequent shoppers with little to no sales history to speak of is not a sign the buyer is fraudulent.
The time to assess your risk tolerance is before listing the item. Attempting to manage it after the sale can get your account dinged by eBay. When a seller cancels a transaction, it can cause a defect on one’s account. (Depending on the reason, eBay considers seller-initiated cancellations to be the most egregious violation of policy.)
On eBay, they buy, you ship.

But that isn't your job. Your job is to get paid and ship. They have no need to answer any questions and most people are at work now, not online.

Why would you need to communicate with a buyer?
What information will he offer that would change the status of the transaction?
He bought, he paid, you ship.
Do you think the buyer is going to say, "Yes, I am a fraud"?

maybe the buyer finds it strange that you have no sales for march or april
maybe you were banned from selling then....the buyer might want a regular seller and not an occasional seller.
its too much to think about if you ask me
anyways.......you shoud just ship if they pay
good luck!

With the kind of items you sell, you probably have a buyer that does not want to chat with you. They paid, you ship. I don't see how chatting with someone will make any difference about if they are fraudulent or not.

A 2 item buyer in 3 years is probably unaware that ebay messages is even a thing. Even if he
realized he got a message he'd view it as spam.
You listed, He paid, You ship.
You spend enough time doing a background check on your buyers, You end up with a big fat neg from the buyer and getting dinged by ebay for late shipping.

I communicate with the buyer's to let them know, that there item is getting ready to ship, every other buyer I've dealt with has answered back because communication is KEY! and they appreciate it.

If there's to be communication, it would be the buyer who would want to get it from the seller. What is the buyer supposed to communicate to you? He bought, he paid and he expects you to ship.
Do it!

Tracking with signature confirmation. I do certified with getting a signature if its quite a bit of money.

Communicate to a few buyers asking about their intentions, their honesty, their history, Why they have been
off ebay for a year or 2,
And see what happens.

There is no requirement that you communicate with the buyer or that he reply if you do so. It's nice that you do so, but, again, not required.
Your implication in your original message was that you found his buying history "strange" and you wanted to communicate "just in case this might be a fraud". You did not say that your purpose would be to let the buyer know you were preparing to ship. And I would imagine that the buyer would know you are preparing to ship.
