I would like more control of buyer requirements. Short Cut on Overview page to block bidders, then buyer requirements. I rate their system 1 star, since that is one of the only places to set standards to whom you want to sell product. " Please add a setting regarding the amount of Negative, Neutral or Reports Buyers can have in a selected amount of time based on a sellers request. Buyers can still find, purchase and Ebay still get sells, just not from every seller who set a higher standard.
I no longer pay much attention to feedback scores anymore, since the sells to feedback ratios are completely unacceptable. Maybe an automatic positive from buyers with no feedback would offset the one unreasonable buyer who would have been blocked anyway.
Are sellers so busy worried with loosing a few sells, than having a little peace of mind that there is some more protection on how they prefer to sell from their stores ? Thanks

Best not to open the auto positive can of worms.......some buyers don't leave feedback because they are not particularly pleased with the transaction......and "just let it go". I can see an auto positive might stir them up enough to really complain.........

Since buyers cannot get anything but Positive FB, this would not help any sellers.
It is not about "sales"
eBay gets $ from buyers, they dont care how many issues buyers causes sellers because it is about $ not having happy sellers.

Thank you for your suggestion.
Unfortunately we don't work for ebay.
We do not have the capability to make any changes.
We are just other buyers and sellers like you.

Ah, Retail Utopia! Every retailer's dream: The ability to hand-pick his customers so every transaction is hitch-free, pleasant, and profitable.
Sorry, but when you offer your wares to the public, it's the public you get -- in all its great variety of good, bad, ugly, beautiful, smart, stupid, easy, hard, polite, rude, informed, ignorant, generous, modest, vain, stingy, honest, dishonest... on and so on.
eBay gives you some modest level of control, and it's more than you'd get if you sold in a brick-and-mortar, actually.
As for automatic positive feedback, be careful what you wish for. Many less than satisfied buyers who decided to just skip feedback or, at most, give a neutral would be inclined to go ahead and neg you rather than see you get a positive they feel you don't deserve.

You do know that BUYERS cannot be given negatives or neutrals, right?
And that about the only buyer restriction that a seller can use is that he can set his requirements so that he does not have to deal with buyers who have had two strikes in twelve months?

If/when eBay should ever decide that a seller gets an automatic positive when a buyer does not leave FB, I am outa here, and would be willing to bet I am not alone in this.
Do not ever need eBay to decide how I feel about a seller. Have never left a seller a negative and would like to continue that way. Have been fortunate enough that, with the very few not so great experiences I have had with sellers, the seller has always been gracious in refunding or making it right.

Brick and Mortar stores did pick their customer base on a lot of occasions. It was a sign behind the register that read " We reserve the right to refuse service ". If somebody was rude, they were asked to leave. If somebody didn't like their merchandise or services, they just simply went away. As far as not being able to leave anything but positive feedback for buyers, there is an option to reply to your original one you left for them in good faith that are fair and reasonable people. They don't necessarily get the only word .
