Hello,
I am mostly buying but sometimes selling. So, this time I was selling used motorcycle part. Yes, old and not best looking but definitely functional. Detailed pictures with all of the defects and nicks were taken. No returns specified.
Now buyer wan'ts refund because it's "not as described". I asked about specifics - picture of what is "bent", etc. Got rude response about selling junk and so on.
It is not a big deal to take item back but I just feel like it's a buyers remorse and don't want to support rudeness displayed.
Responded again that I would like more information on what is wrong with an item. Nothing back, just another request for "return" this time.
What should my next steps be? Definitely don't want negative feedback. And definitely will print return label and not just refund or partially refund. But don't want buyer to just get away with simply "not liking".

you should provide a return label, and refund after return..buyers always win snad cases. If you dont, Ebay will refund him quickly and let him keep the part. And you will also get a major defect for being unresponsive.

Buyer file Item Not As Described, nothing can be done.
Accept return, get your part back and inspect, issue refund - then relist if you want

I assume if I get "his" part back or damaged part - I cannot do anything either?

Has the buyer actually filed a not as described return?

No..because of your no returns policy..if you had free returns, you could have deducted up to fifty percent refund if it was not in the original condition.

Yes

Understood. Sent him return label, oh well. I am sure it's a buyers remorse, he made an offer without thinking I would accept it and then had to buy it. Guess it happens.

Okay, then I wouldn't continue asking questions or for proof of anything. It basically doesn't matter --- sorry. I know it is annoying, but that is the way it works. Ebay does not wish to be a judge in these situations and you need to just click to issue the return label (if you want the item back) and don't wait too long to give the buyer the time to escalate.
Edit: Okay, good, I see you already did this.

If you peruse these boards for problems that auto/mcy/boat and other vehicle parts sellers (used and new) you may notice a trend. Buyers gets parts delivered, installs on vehicle, doesn't fix problem, buyer files INAD/MBG and gets refund. Maybe seller gets part back, but not always.
So buyers are using seller inventory as a test parts source. All with eBay's blessing. And you get to pay for it.
Many sellers of used parts have stopped selling for this very reason.

I understand that delimma with parts. Buyers do the exact same on Amazon and I would suppose the same on similar venues.
