I refunded buyer due to postal service delay, package now delivered can I get re-imbursed?

March 20 mailed, April 10 I refunded, package shows delivered on April 18

EBay won't do anything.

You can inquire about payment from the buyer though there is no obligation on their part other than a moral one.

No you cannot.

Unless the buyer agrees to pay you.

If the buyer wants to pay you, you can give them your PayPal and they can send you money.

Otherwise once you refund the buyer there is nothing that can be done.

No.

Once you refund, the transaction is over. eBay cannot claw back a refund, and they cannot force the buyer to return the item to you. 

If you wanted the item back you needed to issue a recall on the package from the carrier before it was delivered.  Otherwise, you have to appeal to the buyer's honesty.

You will have to go to Facebook or Instagram ebay site, have all your info, order # tracking ect. I have received a courtesy refund from ebay for the same thing.

Don't know if anyone remembers.......but at one time, IF you refunded due to ebay requirement to refund the buyer within a certain time (NR case).....and then the item was then delivered, ebay would refund you......  Wasn't an announced policy that I remember, but rather word of mouth on the boards......  never knew if was a one time courtesy refund to the seller or a general policy.......

If they opened up an Item Not Received claim and you refunded through that then you can call eBay and ask eBay to give you a refund on their behalf.  But if no claim was ever opened then you are SOL.

Did you send the package with tracking?

If so, then YES.

You can request a refund with eBay stating that your package has been delivered.

It is best that you actually TALK to a customer service agent on the phone.

No need to get Ebay involved, like others have posted contact buyer nicely and ask them to send $ thru Paypal, most of the time I have been paid.
