The money paid by the buyer has not reached my processing or on hold funds. Anyone know the reason.?

There's another way to determine if you can ship the item or not:
Go to your My Ebay, and under Orders click on "Awaiting Shipment". If your sale does not show up there, don't ship until it does.

What makes you think the buyer paid? If the buyer said so, I would assume the item is not paid for until I see the money in my held funds.

If your buyer used a debit card to pay he was drawing on a bank account-- in effect , he wrote you an e-check.
And just like a paper check, it has to clear the banking system before it is credited to you.
It comes out of his account immediately however.
And be aware - an e-check can bounce just as high as a paper check.
And with Managed Payments, eBay does not turn payments over to you on spec.
PP had enough money and enough experience with eBay sellers to "front" most sellers as soon as the payment cleared. (Which is almost instant with credit cards).
MP holds on to the payment for a short time, and then transfers funds to your bank. You get to choose if that will be daily or weekly.

The issue was resolved. I chatted with Ebay. They said, this is seem to be a technical glitch , it will take 24-48 hours to get it sorted and the payment has been made by the buyer, you can ship the item. Thanks to ebay community members for your support.

I still wouldn't mail anything until the ebay system tells me to. I wouldn't trust half of what the call center script readers say.

NEVER TRUST CUSTOMER SUPPORT WITH ANYTHING THAT COULD COST YOU MONEY!
You can Message the customer and let him know a technical glitch with eBay means his payment has not yet cleared but that his purchase is packaged and addressed ready to go the moment you are notified.

How were you notified of the sale? Did it come through the eBay system, or did the buyer ask to text you?

The exact same thing just happened to me at what I am assuming is the almost exact same time as you. To give more detail to those inquiring below. I received a notice on my ebay phone app that an item had been purchased and then a second notice showing that the item had been paid for. About an hour and a half later I logged on to my ebay account and checked the payment section. The only entry related to this transaction was a small deduction for the advertising fee to ebay. The actual payment from the buyer was not listed on the payments page and the funds weren't added to my pending balance. Looked at the purchase information and everything associated with it shows the buyer paid, but again money not in managed payment account. Thank you Snjsr for the information from ebay, I will follow up with them tomorrow if it doesn't pop up before then.

Well, if nothing else that does confirm that the customer did buy.
Still-- don't trust Customer Service with your money.

Same has happened to me . EBay fees taken but no payment . Did your payment arrive ? If so how long did it take.?

Exactly what happened to me, also on 9/26. Still waiting after Customer Support told me 24-48 hours. Customer said they paid with PP, it deducted fees and let me purchase a shipping label, yet no pending or holds on any funds on my end. If I go to look at payment details, they don’t exist.
