Buyer never picked up item after telling UPS to hold for pick up.

The person who bought my item opened their account the day my item was listed. That made me nervous but they paid through Paypal immediately so I shipped the item. They then told UPS to hold the item for pickup but didn't pick it up. Now UPS says they are returning it to me. They are not responding to messages so I'm confused as to what to do. I didn't charge them shipping but it cost me $25 to ship and I feel like I should not refund the shipping cost as they won't offer an explanation and my ad said "no returns"

Well by not picking the item up, they lost their buyer protection, and you should have no problem deducting the shipping fee from their refund. Hopefully, they didnt get sick.
