I bought a ssd drive from a popular retail store in clearance and sold it on eBay the next day. The box was sealed and advertised as brand new. A few days later I get my first negative review from that buyer claiming the box was not sealed but the item was in great shape so she still wanted to keep it. The seal was clearly visible on the pictures I took for the listing!! I sent the buyer a very polite message explaining the situation and asked what I could do to resolve the issue. Should I reach out to eBay? What do I do?

Ask them to return it to you. That you are sorry. As as I am reading between the lines. You were the seller. And that you will pay for the return shipping. Most likely buyer, wants to cheat you. I have been there done that. Good luck on your selling journey.

She is trying to scam you for a partial refund.
Tell her to open a return and send it back.
Block her immediately so she can't make other purchases.

Just block her and move on. She has not asked for a refund. She was just mean and left negative feedback. You could reply to the feedback but do not leave her any. If you push her to return you will have to pay shipping and you will have an item that is used by her and no longer sealed. Can't be sold as new.

No need to call Ebay, there is nothing they can do to help.
Since you emailed your buyer and they haven't responded, it isn't likely the buyer wants anything from you, not even a partial refund. They have made no demands of you, so unfortunately just move on and know that the negative FB isn't going to hurt you as a seller.
Now something you should do is look at the buyer's FB page. Look at what they post on "Left for Others". Now if you see some consistency in leaving negs for sellers, that can show a buyer that abuses the FB system and in certain cases that is enough to get Ebay to remove the negative FB they left on your account.
So go take a peek and tell us what you see.
As to what you do now. Absolutely just leave your buyer alone. No more emails unless they write you.

If your goal is to have the feedback removed, remember that even if you gave a partial refund, there is nothing that would force the removal.
Offer refund on return. If she doesn't return it you can add a Response to her FB " Offered refund and return shipping label. No response. She kept the doohickey."

That’s feedback extortion. It’s against the rules. They won’t enforce the rules and your negative feedback for the attempt will remain. If you haven’t had a neg removed in a while they MIGHT take it off if you call a million times. The fact that it’s extortion won’t get it removed. How recently you have had a neg removed is the only factor they consider.
Dont give them a partial refund. Make them return it. If you give in they know it works and will continue to do it. Be a team player, don’t give in, and maybe you can save someone else from dealing with the same thing.
100% feedback makes one a target for this. If you have 100% you might want to keep the neg so you are less of a target. The scammers and extortionist know they can push 100% feedback sellers around.

This is the risk you take when you state you do not accept returns. The buyer almost always leaves negative feedback if they are unhappy for some reason or another. They believe that's their only recourse. Of course, she could have said not as described and Ebay would make you accept the return at your expense. So, no returns isn't worth it. If you accepted returns, she could return for refund or choose to keep it. Her choice. And Ebay would remove any negative feedback she left since returning it for a refund makes her whole.

I don't see a negative review on this account.
Did you remedy the problem?

I see it. It says: "Description was misleading seller said this item was unopened seal brand new! Which is false the seal sticker was opened it was NOT sealed I feel like I was lied to! Item looks in great shape will keep!"

Buyer says that the item itself is fine and she will keep it. So just leave things alone. One neg will not hurt you, especially given the nature of this one. If you continue to poke this sleeping bear, things will get worse for you.

I would ignore it and move on. People generally don't even click through to feedback on sellers with 99 percent+ and hundreds of feedback.

DON"T do anything except block that bidder. They could be looking for a partial refund. Ignore them. I would not even respond to the comment because then they might want to return the item and it will used and of course, you get to pay for the return shipping. So just continue listing. Calling ebay is a waste of time.
If you respond to the comment and call them a liar or mistaken, that may trigger a return. Keep listing. 1 negative will not hurt you.

I see the negative. Its a big bright red dot, second from the top.

134 positive and 1 negative. Don't let that bother you. You will still get buyers. Just have to wait 12 months before it disappears.
I believe you can respond to their feedback if you wish to state your position. You can also request the buyer to revise feedback but not a guarantee they will.
