I just sold an item and when I looked at the buyer's feedback left for others" she has a ton of positives with negative remarks left for sellers or flat out negatives. I'm a little nervous selling the item to her mainly because I have a very low feedback score and anything negative will affect me greatly. Am I allowed to refund and block her or should I ship the item and hope for the best?

You need to ship the item. If you cancel the transaction ebay will give you a nasty defect and the buyer most likely will give you a Negative.

If it's any consolation, very few buyers take the time to read feedback. Heck, many don't even take the time to read the descriptions.

It is probably best if you ship - if there are no specific problems - and hope for the best. Once there is a transaction, the buyer can leave feedback whether you cancel or not.
However, it is reason to be aware and alert to the possibility that the buyer may be one who likes to re-negotiate after the fact for partial refund or more. If it comes down to getting a neg and 'well, it could be revised if you will "work with me"' type of thing, it is best to just say very little other than 'Please return for refund'. If it happens come back and we will walk you through it.
Good luck and hope for the best.

EVERY transaction on Ebay has the potential of going south. Ship the item if your buyer has paid. Make sure your packaging is clean and presentable. I am assuming it is pants you sold so there could be a problem with fit but if you are going to sell clothes and shoes that is the situation you will be dealing with on every sale. Good Luck.

Some buyers seem to think that negatives hurt sellers but do want to communicate problems. Some people are just nit picky. Green dots are usually glossed over by future potential buyers so even if your buyer leaves a bad comment, very few people will read it if it is green.
It IS a violation when sellers do this, but not when buyers do.

Did you just cancel and relist the item? Did the buyer ask to cancel or what reason did you use if you cancelled?

Ship. If you refund and block, they can still leave feedback because this is still considered a transaction. You are just asking for a negative. Don't worry about negative comments disguised as a positive. Not many buyers will read the feedback and it will disappear off the screen before long.

Let the transaction be completed. Ship the item as you would to anyone else....
....then block.

Ship the item or get a worse scenerio with Ebay giving you a defect on your account which will really affect your account since you do not have enough other sales to help with this. People who leave positives with negative remarks are sometimes partial refund seekers. Be prepared to say to them return for full refund if they try to coerce you for money back on the item and to keep it.

If you are already nervous about what will happen if you complete the sale, you should be terrified about what would happen if you cancel the sale.
IMHO hoping for the best is a much better option than ensuring the worst.

The buyer actually asked to cancel the order. She said she mistakenly got the wrong size. I refunded her then she left me positive feedback! I’m not complaining. Lol
