Buyer is using a 3rd party Freight Forwarder, Am I protected from returns?

So just want to make sure I got everything straight.

Buyer bought expensive item, 0 feedback.

Address is a freight forwarder, I even asked them if it was a FF or warehouse and they said it's a warehouse.

Told me address is correct.

I dropped off at post office, have receipt with the actual weight of the package.

Phone number given is also from the FF.

Never had issues with people using FF, but just want to be ready in case something goes wrong or they want to return.

Ebays policy mentions that buyer protection is voided, if using 3rd party FF.

I've seen post of the opposite happening or policy not being followed.

Anything else I should have ready in case buyer wants to return?

Technically I have nothing to worry about once it's delivered?

Exactly - item is broken and not functioning properly as expected.

I proposed returning and paying for shipment to seller by since the moment I told I used FF, seller stopped responding and ignores me hiding behind FF policy.

FF is trusted logistic company being 25 years on market, I use to buy at ebay for 10 years without any single issue. Nobody never opened your box, damaged or etc.

As for negative feedback - not going into item technical details, seller lied it was successfully tested before shipping, since this defect is a common and regular to items this kind. So I suppose seller saw I'm buying FF, knowing returns not accepted, shipped defected item with other serial number.

Well that we can't tell from your pics.  The serial number issue doesn't mean the item doesn't work.  It only means that the seller may have recycled boxes.

Was the item new or used when you purchased it?  The sad thing about electronic stuff is they work until they don't.  Heck my house heater worked every day until Saturday morning and then it just stopped.  I've had similar issues with coffee makers, refrigerators, etc.

I'm not trying to make light of your situation.  You are assuming the seller is not being honest with you, but you really should consider that they may be and it did work fine when they had it.  And if this was a used item that you purchased, that likely explains the serial number differences as the seller likely recycled boxes.

Well it is your Seller's right to not entertain your return.  I know that may not seem fair to you, but it is the rules on this site.

Sellers Can NOT see you use a FF until you actually purchase and pay for an item.  So your assumption is incorrect.  A seller doesn't know before you purchase.  Seems you are reaching to find fault in the Seller.

I get it that you are upset.  I would be too.  Spending my hard earned money on something that doesn't work is infuriating to say the least.  I get it.  It is however the risk you take.  I'm sorry.  Sincerely I am.

Easy - just google address you send, and You'll discover it's FF logistic company.

You are assuming the seller is not being honest with you, but you really should consider that they may be and it did work fine when they had it.

How can seller to be considered honest, if he didn't pay any effort try to solve the issue, just asking were I'm located and immediately stopped responding, knowing I'm aboard 😂

Item described as new. Without going deep into technical background to understand the issue, it's like you order a new two cameras refrigerator, and only one is cooling. You contacted seller, and he claims "it's a scam" I'll not respond to you because FF 🤐

Yes, I understand the policy and I have no other way to buy at ebay without FF. But such seller behavior looks ridicules to me.

Again, the seller does NOT have your ship to address until you purchase and PAY for the item.  Prior to that, a seller can not see your ship to address at all.  They can't Google something they don't know.

Just as sellers are required to know the rules of selling on this site, buyers are responsible to know the rules of the site for them.  I absolutely respect and understand why you are upset.  I would be too.  But the rules of the site [not created by sellers] are what they are.

The seller can know you have your account set up in a different country, that they can see if you bid and or if you purchase something.  However a seller can not see what your ship to address is until the buyer actually pays for the item.  There are many international buyers with US ship to addresses that are NOT a FF.  There are lots of people here in the US on educational visas, work visas, extended vacations, etc.  All are here legally and have a US ship to address that does not involve a FF.

The seller is just following the rules.  You just don't like the rules, that is not your seller's fault.  They didn't write them, Ebay did.  None of us had anything to do with how that policy was written.

I don't understand what You're trying to explain by this.

It's obvious that we are talking about item I purchased and pay, so seller knows shipping address.
And knowing this address is FF, seller literally can post "plastic fork" knowing returns from FF not covering by MBG.

Simply open a chargeback with your CC company for the item being not as described. The CC company will only look at the financial aspects of the transaction, you will likely win the claim, be fully refunded and not have to worry about returning the item unless you simply want to do that on your own.

Thanks for helping @dbfolks166mt

I never had opened chargeback request (as well as regular returns 😇)

Can You please suggest how these request are opened?
Shall I contact master card issuer directly or it can be done via some ebay form?
