So just want to make sure I got everything straight.
Buyer bought expensive item, 0 feedback.
Address is a freight forwarder, I even asked them if it was a FF or warehouse and they said it's a warehouse.
Told me address is correct.
I dropped off at post office, have receipt with the actual weight of the package.
Phone number given is also from the FF.
Never had issues with people using FF, but just want to be ready in case something goes wrong or they want to return.
Ebays policy mentions that buyer protection is voided, if using 3rd party FF.
I've seen post of the opposite happening or policy not being followed.
Anything else I should have ready in case buyer wants to return?
Technically I have nothing to worry about once it's delivered?

I have an update.
Tracking shows: "Delivered to Agent, Picked up at USPS"
Quick search mentions this might prove they used FF and that my part is done since it's delivered.

Looks normal so far. Please post an update here if anything changes, before you actually respond to any messages or claims.

It proves delivery to the buyer as long as USPS delivered it to the address you sent it to AND you sent it to the address stated on the buyer's payment / order.

Created label through ebay, so no issues there.
Still not sure if it's really delivered or just a usps automatic message.
Ebay did mark as delivered on the order page.

If there is a problem, Proving delivery is not really going to be the issue - It will be dealing with a NAD case after delivery - Lets hope it never happens - Rooting for you!

It only matters that the tracking shows delivered. Even if you don't believe it, that is what Ebay would go by.
I know some have said it is a problem to be shipping to a Freight Forwarder. I've shipped to many in my years of selling here. I have not experienced problems out of the ordinary with this type of buyer.

I'm in another boat - just bought a listed as new.
I live outside US, using ebay for 10 years and 100% of my purchases done via FF (which is basically just DHL or FedEx making international shipment from US warehouse to my country).
Motherboard came defected - one of ram ports not working, seller lied it was renewed and tested before shipment, because it's like a first step how you test board. Also serial number in the box I received differs from the listed on ebay.
I provided all possible photos for troubleshooting, which confirms board failed, but seller just annoyed me with question were i'm located. And when I honestly tell him that I'm outside US and in case of returns I'll send it back by avia for my cost, he hides by FF shipping policy, telling me "scam" and simply stop respond to my message.
Any ideas or recommendation how to proceed?
Didn't yet post bad feedback or report seller, still hope we will solve it.

This thread might get locked as it’s from September, but by having your item re shipped by a third party, you forfeit your buyer protection as there is no way to know if the FF damaged/switched the item before sending it off to you.
That is one of the downsides of using a third party reshipper vs having sellers mail the items directly to you or through eBay’s own international shipping programs.

That's obviously item wasn't broken by 3rd party and there is no any signs of damage.
It's common motherboards issue and I started to think seller knew this and seeing address is FF, has sent broken Item intentionally.

As a buyer you may not have much luck going through eBay since you utilized a freight forwarder. The easiest thing to do would be to simply open a chargeback with your CC company for Item Not As Described.

This only applies to the eBay policy it does not cover the buyers option to open a chargeback with their CC company which they will probably win. EBay cannot override the current consumer protection laws.

It's not really going to matter if the buyer files a chargeback with their CC company.

It should. The seller should be covered under Seller Protection.

You can contact your seller and see if they will take the return. You should offer to pay for the return shipping as nothing you do can make the seller pay that expense. The seller may be willing to work with you. But if they aren't, Ebay will not force them to.
Why would you make a threat to post negative feedback on the seller? it isn't the seller's fault that you do not qualify for the Buyer's Money Back Guarantee. You should have known this when you purchased the item.
It appears the serial numbers on the boxes don't match up, but that could be as simple as the seller grabbed the wrong box. What is important is does the item work? You didn't buy the boxes, you bought the item inside. Is it functioning properly or is your only complaint is that the serial numbers on the boxes don't match?
