Buyer is drop shipping my items on Amazon

It has recently come to my attention that a seller on Amazon has taken my photos and listed my items for sale on Amazon.  When they sell something they buy it from me and put a note on the order asking it to be sent without an invoice or any type of branding.  From what I read on Amazon, drop shipping this way is not allowed.  They are also selling my items for 2-3 times more than what I sell them for on here.  I have reported this to Amazon but have not heard back.  Can I report them to eBay or should I just block the buyer and hope they don't have more buying accounts?  I like the sales, but I'm still not happy this is happening.  My items are branded with my seller name and website and it will be easy for customers to go to my eBay Store and see that they got ripped off on Amazon, then contact me thinking that I was the seller.  Anyone else have experience with this?

Anyone buying and paying for anything I have listed on eBay is welcome to do whatever they choose with it, it is theirs!!!!

That sounds silly to me. If I have a repeat customer, I will usually message them to see if a quantity discount would entice them to buy more and take advantage of combined shipping.

Re: Buyer is drop shipping my items on Amazon

I tend to price my items according to my costs, and how badly I want to get rid of it. I do not care who buys it, as long as I get what I am asking for it. I don't care who is receiving it and why. And, these are inanimate objects, so I don't care what kind of home they go to, either.

If you have your own brand, these kind of sites might not be ideal for you.

This happened to me too but I then learned to check Amazon for whatever new item I needed before I checked Ebay. I have saved hundreds of dollars doing this. You can also do a google search and see where you can get your item for LESS money. Ebay is NOT the only rodeo in town.

Makes me wonder how someone could find something on Amazon at 2-3X the price and not see it on eBay??? There is something bad wrong with that picture!!!!!

It doesn't seem like this would happen if eBay listings were showing up in search engines at all.

Re: Buyer is drop shipping my items on Amazon

You want to be beholden to Amazon's return policies? Because you now are if you sell to an Amazon drop shipper. Do a search for Toycentric on google. This is an amazon seller who buys toys from ebay and sells on amazon. He doesn't bother to read the descriptions so often buys damaged, open boxed or used toys and sells them as new on amazon. Then the amazon customers leave him negative feedback and he then leaves the ebay seller negative feedback. Seriously, look him up and look at his feedback. Almost all of the feedback he has left is negative. I mean this guy runs a "business" with zero costs. He has no inventory, no shipping costs, no labor, nothing. YOU are doing all the hard work and he is making money off you. You are taking all the risk, he is taking none. Everyone talks like you about drop shippers until the inevitable day comes and they have to deal with a return from an Amazon A-Z guarantee.

You have clearly never dealt with a return through one of these drop shippers or dealt with Toycentric.

The eBay seller is not on the hook for the Amazon seller's A-Z claim. An Amazon dropshipper opening an SNAD is just the same as anyone else opening an SNAD.

If customers keep opening A-Z's on the dropshipper Amazon will definitely give them the boot. They tend to be far less lenient than eBay.

If this toy seller's feedback is unwarranted, you should be able to have it removed, no?

Have you reported this guy to authorities like the FTC? If he is selling open box/used as new then thats a big no-no. Packard Bell/NEC(remember them?) got the boot from the US market for doing that.

Re: Buyer is drop shipping my items on Amazon

Someone bought something from me recently. So he money off my back. I really dont care, but I did worry about the customer returning it. At least my item was sealed new in box which helps. I knew right away he was a drop shipper when he requested no invoice be sent with the item. The funny thing is I wrap my packages in Ebay logo tape so I am sure the buyer figured it out. Lol.
