on 7/11/2020 a bidder won a auction for 71.00 USD and has been silent as of today 7/15/2020 and it is nearing midnight. I sent a invoice state that I have the item ready to ship and if payment is received no later then 4am in the morning then I can ship that day (I go to sleep at 5am and wake up at around 12. I have a odd sleep cycle)
Right now I still do not really know all the ins and outs of selling (91 times , I think it was, over the course of a decade and a half) so I do not know things like proper response nor the amount of time to wait for a response. Can any of you give me some idea how I should go about this?

I typically wait 48 hours and 1 minute and then I open an NPB case. 96 hours later I close the case and then relist the item. I do not bother with invoices or messages. If they are not going to pay, they are not going to return messages. If they pay before 96 hours is up, then I ship the item.

48 hours? Okay. I am going to open a case. Thank you.

You never know what may be going on in the buyer's life that is a whole lot more important than some item they bid on and won on eBay so I give them a lot more time and, in fact, every single one who was "late" paying did end up paying - some a few days later and one after a couple of weeks. I do send occasional reminders and an invoice. When I was a newbie I opened a case after a buyer hadn't paid in 2-3 days and he gave me a scathing review as he said he had been on a cruise unplugged for that week. eBay did remove the bad review, but I learned my lesson with that one.

Suggestion: Since you state that you "do not really know all the ins and outs of selling", you really should take the time to read all the information contained in the Seller Center, bottom of any eBay page. No one should be selling here cluelessly. Sooner or later that can trip you up.
