Buyer constantly messaging!

I’m not sure what to make of this. I had someone make an offer on an item on 10-18 I accepted the offer. Normally I try and stay strict to the pay in 48 hours and I’ll open a case. I got busy but got a message from the buyer on 10-22 stating she’d pay on 10-23. Okay no problem it was nice for her to contact me. Then on 10-25 after no payment and reminders sent I opened a case. After 4 days still no payment so I closed case and relisted the item. I have since received 4 different messages from her stating she’s paid or that she wants a refund. I responded to the first one and explained to her that a payment was never received and gave her all the dates that she messaged and invoices were sent and reminders and the open case. I received another 2 messages before 8am this morning. I replied to the second one sent and told her I sent an explanation the day before and if she had any questions to contact eBay because I wouldn’t be responding anymore. Now it’s 4:30 my time and once again I have received a one line message stating “I paid I want a refund”

This user has only 3 ratings. Should I have known better? She went on my blocked list when the case was closed. What should I do? Just ignore her? I mean she can’t request a refund if she didn’t pay? This won’t hurt my account/store standings will it?

Re: Buyer constantly messaging!

Put her on your Blocked Bidders List, and add the 'no communication' option.

Unfortunately, because there was a (failed) transaction, the no communication part may not stick for her.

Then stop communication.

When you see her ID, delete.

If she sends an email, delete.

Delete, delete, delete.

With no proof of payment, and an Unpaid Item Strike, she cannot open a Dispute with eBay or with Paypal.

If she had somehow made a payment through her credit card, which you did not receive, all that would happen is that her card would refund her the unclaimed payment, with no fallout for you.

Re: Buyer constantly messaging!

Thanks you! That gives me some reassurance. I woke up to yet another “give me my money back” message. I’ll try the no communication option and hope that helps.
