Buyer bought item using GSP, it's broken, wants me to print a return lablel.

I sold an item using GSP, packed it really well. Buyer got it and says it is broken. I belive the buyer, sent pics.

However, I can't print a return label since it's GSP.

Some of the threads on here state I'm not responsbile if the item breaks in shipping once it is forwarded beyond the US, others say only eBay can fix it.

What can I do?

ebay does not offer international return service as post office does not have return service agreements w foriegn postal services

This is a user to user board not eBay employees.

You have to call ebay and tell them its a GSP sale and that the item was damaged during shipment. They are supposed to close the request and refund the buyer out of the GSPs pocket. If it hasn't been 3 business days since the request was opened they will probably give you a hard time.

Re: Buyer bought item using GSP, it's broken, wants me to print a return lablel.

When you use GSP, you are NOT responsible for breakage. That's one of the reasons to use GSP. Once you get the item to KY, you're done as far as transit damage is concerned.  It's not your problem, it's Ebay/GSP's problem.

You will need to contact Ebay and let them know that you have a GSP claim, as jen_proudleowife says.

The easier you are to offend the easier you are to control.

I had this issue recently the buyer filed a case and I called eBay as soon as I got home.  The case was closed the same day with eBay refunding the buyer  since it was gsp.

Thats good to know! Trinton (I think) or another blue just confirmed that ebay has changed policy and they will not longer close requests before the 3rd business day so I wasn't sure if customer service would give OP a hard time if they call now 🙂

"What can I do?"

You don't need to do anything.

Totally call.  It is GSP's responsibility.

You got it safely to KY and that was where your responsibility ends.

Good Luck!
