Buyer attempting to chargeback via made up reason - Need help

Hello, so just yesterday an old buyer opened a paypal dispute for his payment under the reason "Item not as described". For some context, this individual was sold an Xbox console back in November. The listing was very specific as per ebay guidelines with the description and title matching everything that comes with it. Unfortunately, I can't see my original ebay listing for this product as more than 90 days has passed. I was hoping to use the original listing to defend my case. It is very obvious that this buyer has bad intentions as you don't make a chargeback for "item not as described" 4 months after receiving and using the gaming console. Any help or advice on how to go on about this situation would be appreciated, thank you.

Edit: The buyer slipped up and luckily left me positive feedback when he received the gaming console saying "everything arrived, perfect". I just screenshotted it as one of the documents to provide in the defense of my case.

Buyers can file a dispute with PayPal for six months.  Is it a PayPal dispute or a chargeback coming to you via PayPal?   To what city/state did you ship the product?

It says that the buyer filed this case via his financial institution - "We've opened a case on March 4, 2021 so that we can collect more info and resolve this with the buyer's financial institution."

The product was shipped to PA from NY

That is a chargeback, a bit different from a regular old PayPal dispute.  If it was a regular old PayPal dispute, you would have the option for the buyer to "return for refund".  In most instances, they would have to return it on their own dime.

A chargeback, however, will not require a return of the merchandise for the buyer to get refunded at your expense. Sorry this is happening to you.

KEEP FIGHTING!

all these different rules between eBay, PayPal, and C.C. is poop! They all need to be on the same page across the board!

Even if you request the item to be returned, you won't get the same thing back!  You will probably get back their old broken one or possibly someone got upset playing on the system they bought from you and broke it.

Doesn't PayPal have seller protection?

4 months and now a claim "item not as described". Really People?

Them leaving positive feedback, won't mean anything to the case.

Have a great day.

PayPal does not have seller protection for NAD chargebacks.

Fill out the form as best you can and pray.  There is no seller protection from any source for 'not as described' claims even if you have evidence that shows otherwise..  Those that control the money determine the outcome.
