Buyer enters the wrong address into ebay and then blames me that his order got sent to the wrong place. The item was shipped ebay standard mailer and i let him know it’s out of my hands now.
how do you handle situations like this? I dont think I should have to refund them since it’s their fault.

I send a message telling them I shipped to the address on their payment and include a screenshot showing their payment with the address they entered.
If they try to open a case or leave negative feedback I contact eBay right away and have them view my message and haven't lost yet.

@mvpcardvault the pkg will either show delivered, in which case, if the buyer opens an item not rec'd case, just upload the tracking number that shows delivered
or, the pkg will get sent back to you, in which case, if the buyer still wants it, they'll have to provide the correct address and pay to reship the item, or just refund him if he doesn't want it and then block him

Good luck with that, I'd like to know what happens. You are right, but I bet ebay refunds his money. I sent to a listed address once, but he had moved to another town. He must have had it forwarded or received it somehow because there was no follow up. You gotta verify everything these days, then people get ll testy when you do. And if they provide a different address and you mail to it, then ebay takes your money for that.
Now that you can't call anyone, how can you verify the rules du jour?

This is what I plan on doing should he open a case. Annoyed with the situation
