Bullion FVF

Hello.

I was going to put a few of my gold bullion coins up for sale and I am trying to figure what the FVF would be.

I don't have a store, I am just an individual.

The one page said that standard seller fees apply.....so is that 10%?

Re: Bullion FVF

This is a list of seller fees for non-store ownders-

https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/fees-credits-invoices/selling-fees?id=4364

Bullion is not listed separately which means it is the standard 10% final value fee that applies to most categories.

Re: Bullion FVF

10% + 3% paypal + $.30 transaction fee. Figure in the free shipping that most buyers expect and its a travesty to sell bullion here. All premiums are eaten by fees or postage. I do local fee free sales or just melt it now.

Re: Bullion FVF

Your best price will be the bullion price. Any artistic merit is unimportant.

Anything sold as a "collectible" has no resale value as a collectible.

Your best bet would be to find someone who will give you the melt value.

In addition to your fees, already described*, don't forget your labour.

Here in BC, the minimum wage is 23 cents a minute, and I find just photography and descriptions take me about 10 minutes- or $2.30.

So it's not just fees, although fees are part of it.

And new sellers of high value/high fraud items attract scammers. So there's that.

*And if your buyer is overseas, Paypal will charge you 4.4% fees rather than the domestic 2.9%.
